INTRO TO LIGHTROOM

(5 weeks) Class dates: 9/17, 9/24, 10/1, 10/8, 10/15

Students will learn the basics of using Adobe Lightroom CC to edit photos. Download of the individual photography plan from Adobe is highly recommended and laptops are welcome.

DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY 101 

(BEGINNER)                                 Fee: $100

Monday 5:30-7:30PM 

(5 weeks) Class dates: 9/16, 9/23, 9/30, 10/7, 10/14

Learn the basics of digital photography while exploring the technical aspects of your camera. This class builds a strong foundation for the budding photographer and is the recommended first step for photography students.   

INTRO TO LIGHTING

(INTERMEDIATE)                             Fee: $100

Monday 5:30-7:30PM 

(5 weeks) Class dates: 10/21, 10/28, 11/4, 11/11, 11/18

Through hands-on class work, students will learn the basics of controlling light in the studio as well as using natural light. Individual and collaborative projects will focus on composition and lighting for photographing 3D objects. Prior completion of the beginner class is recommended.

Registration is open for Fall 2019 classes! Classes are taught by Courtney Simpson at The Ferris Wheel in downtown Flint.
